LAKE PLACID – After being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lake Placid Horse Shows, sponsored by Bainbridge Farms, LLC and presented by Sea Shore Stables, LLC, returned with a busy schedule for hunter-jumpers Competitions back.

The 2021 Lake Placid Horse Shows, which will take place June 29th through July 11th, are one of the main stops for the country’s Hunter Jumper horse shows. More than 100 competitive classes are awarded each week, with prizes in excess of $ 600,000.

The Lake Placid Horse Show from June 29th to July 4th will be highlighted on Sunday July 4th with the $ 100,000 Richard M. Feldman Grand Prix.

The I Love New York Horse Show will follow from July 6th to 11th, and on Saturday, July 10th, the Grand Prix of the Great American Insurance Group, presented by Alliant Private Client, will take place, valued at $ 100,000 on Sunday July 11th.

On the opening day there was a limited competition schedule in which Olympic runner-up Peter Leone took the first two places in the 1.30 m jumping class. Leone led a 32 horse field on Chaccos Anna by finishing the single lap course designed by Alan Wade in 52.528 seconds with no penalty. He finished second on Good Time with a clean run in 54.399.
