Monday’s best bets from the unbeatable Spotlights team at Racing Post
Bangor-on-Dee
6.35: goat
The most obvious answer is Kabrit (day)who is 2-2 over fences after winning in Uttoxeter last month and should be able to handle today’s 5 pound mark. The old-timer Mr. Mafia can make a bold bid from the front, but Wishfull Dreaming can undo Market Rasen’s recent placements with him.
Chris Wilson
Catterick
2.20: Quercus
That doesn’t look very competitive with so many out of shape and it’s a good opportunity for Quercus (nap) to build on his most recent course win. Naughty Ana keeps knocking on the door and must be shown respect with a visor she is now facing.
Alistair Jones
Lingfield
1.30 a.m .: Largo Bay
Most of these have a lot to prove, however Largo Bay (nap) has been placed in three of his last four runs over distance and distance, including a narrow third under a positive ride last week. He has top claims from the same line here and could possibly book his breakthrough. Love Of Zoffany’s form collapsed in Beverley last Wednesday but he still looks well treated after his Ripon win in June and could pose a serious threat if he can recover.

Roscommon
4.45 a.m.: Barud
Barud (nap) can come now well. He is worthy of his mark. Like the selection, Pride Of Derry tried Galway where it holds Mount Fairweather.
Johnny Ward
Windsor
6.55: Glen Esk
This step up in grade cannot prevent this Glen Esk (days) from completing a quadruple as its progressive form includes two distance and distance wins in 2021. He has an appealing profile and gets the voice over Prince Of Harts, with Lady Reset being the third choice. A few others are treated too well to be ignored.
