Monday’s best bets from the unbeatable Spotlights team at Racing Post

Cartmel

3.30: panties

The admirable Hatcher (Nap) should have good pace to aim and although he has reached a high level this distance could fit well and his usual late climb can get him back to success, especially at the expense of Dino Velvet.
Jonathan Neesom

Chepstow

5.05: Spanish star

It’s hard to say how Algheed will handle turf, but she remains open to further progress, while Bolly Bullet would have a good chance if he settled down better than he sometimes does. The choice is however Spanish star (Nap) who was duly rewarded for his consistency last time in Newbury and seemed to win the race with a little bit in hand.
David Bellingham

Downpatrick

1.10: Hurricane Georgie

The improvement Hurricane Georgie (Nap) was just barely contested last time and could be hard to beat if she steps back up. Elderado could be the main threat after hinting at a return to form last time around and the constant Hophornbeam should be back in the mix.
Phill Anderson

Bitter substance

3.10: Titan rocks

At the top of the list is the generally progressive 3yo Titan rocks (Nap)who ran very close in Chester last Saturday and is only 1 pound higher on this drop in class. Firepower was a good third on his rise to 7f at Newbury and he is the most feared, although Corazon Espinado has a 4-9 record here and it would be no surprise if he turned things around with a big rebound at this stretch.
David Moon

Ripon

3.40: Kessel Hill

Several of them have clashed with swords in the past few weeks, including via C&D. Garden Oasis, Challet and Copper And Five (second choice) could hardly be in better shape and are all respected, however Kettle Hill (Nap) has more potential than anyone else and this looks like an excellent opportunity for him to win back the winning streak.
Richard O’Brien

Roscommon

5.10: Chavajod

The shape of the Galway race in which Chavajod (days) Third place has taken on a healthy look after the victories for second and fourth place. Fit For Function is much better drawn than some others with good demands, such as Eloy D’Amerval, Joupe and designer Cailin.
Alan Sweetman

Wolverhampton

3.15 a.m.: Tatmeen

The Charming Kid could start over and have another big race, but he could set things up perfectly Tathmeen (nap)who was in good shape here over 6f last month and would be good for a strong 5f. Atiyah flopped last time in York and has yet to prove she can handle the weight increase she took on for her emphatic C&D win two starts ago but is still being considered.
