One of the most memorable events on the royal calendar that Her Majesty looks forward to each year is the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show.
At the event, which was in her 77th year, the Queen wore a navy quilted vest over a green cardigan on Saturday. Her youngest son, Prince Edward, joined the Queen along with her wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex. It turned out to be a memorable event for the monarch, having practically held the event last year as she nervously watched as her horse First Receiver entered the races and won the Retired Racehorses.
The Queen also watched Daydream III take off and win in the Intermediate Show Riding Type class.
On Sunday, the always stylish queen, dressed in her characteristic headscarf and trench coat, beamed a smile, which in turn made for some high-quality pictures of the 95-year-old monarch.
